Branston Waterpark, Staffordshire
Forty-acres of lake and country park surrounded by woodland, wetland and wildflower meadow. Facilities include information centre, playground, picnic area and nature trail walks are available. All the family can enjoy this walk with beautiful views of the lake and many bird watching areas.

Fort Victoria, Isle of Wight
Steeped in history and information, coastal walks and nature trails provide a fun outing for all the family. Built on the north shore of the Isle of Wight to guard the Solent the remains of Fort Victoria and the surrounding country park offers seashore and woodland walks and the site is one of the best vantage points for watching the Solent’s boats and shipping.

Horsell Common, Surrey
830 acres of green space, Horsell Common is one of only a handful of privately owned areas of common land in England with public access. A wonderful habitat for wildlife, superb footpaths, home to Bronze Age Barrows and made famous by H.G. Wells and the landing of the aliens in “War of the Worlds”.

Llanelli Millennium Coastal Park, South Wales
The coastal park’s biggest land reclamation project stretches from Pembrey Country Park in the west to the National Wetlands Centre at Penclacwydd in the east. There are a wide range of attractions from wildlife and history trails, cycleways, a community woodland and park, promenade, marina, an 18-hole golf course and six lakes.

New Forest District Woodlands & Beaches
The New Forest is a genuine walker's paradise with many circular and linear routes. There are many facilities and all year round there are guided walks where local experts will tell you about the history, geology, wildlife and folklore beneath your feet. You can also have fun spotting cows, pigs and ponies running free in the forest.

Oxford Island, Northern Ireland
This national nature reserve is a fantastic location providing great walks, bird watching hides and facilities for all the family. Oxford Island is a peninsula situated in the south east corner of Lough Neagh, Craigavon’s largest freshwater lake.

St Ann's Well Gardens, Hove
This walk provides a bit of the country in the middle of city, taking you down winding pathways, past ancient trees and through a scented garden. St Ann's Well Gardens, about half a mile from Hove Seafront, is a treat for the tree-lover and will appeal to young and old alike.

The Grand Western Canal Country Park is located in the heart of Devon. The Tiverton to Holcombe Rogus walk offers a great family outing along the canal, through woods and farmland, with 24 bridges, two old limekilns and nine milestones.
