Dogs in cars

It is important to train your dog not to jump out of the car immediately after the door is opened. This is one of the areas where the ‘Wait’ command is very important.

During the hot weather never leave your dog in the car for long periods of time – if you have to, make sure it is only for a few minutes and the window is slightly open and water is provided.
