Budgeting
You
must think about your budget when you are putting your
campaign plan together.
Once you have listed your priorities, you must put an
estimated cost against it. If you know in advance what
your budget is going to be, then you will immediately
know what you can put into your plan.
If your budget depends on your presentation to the local
authority, make sure you’ve got accurate costings
and that you have outlined what areas you can obtain
sponsorship for, and the expected result of a particular
project.
Remember, you don’t have to do everything all
at once and if, like most other dog wardens you don’t
get the budget you require to undertake everything, start
with the activities you know you can do and make work.
There is always next year for the other activities! Use
success generated by a limited campaign to build/expand
on the following year.
