Welcome to the Good Dog Campaign (GDC) website! We’ve got lots of useful information to help local authorities and dog wardens promote responsible dog ownership – from advice about implementing a ‘good dog campaign’ to talking to the media. Our posters, leaflets and colour-ins provide advice on how to promote responsible dog ownership in schools, youth groups, training clubs and the community at large.

The GDC is a local authority environmental programme from Mars UK, supported by the National Dog Warden’s Association. It aims to help local authorities and dog wardens develop responsible dog ownership campaigns within their communities, to promote the positive aspects of dog ownership and raise the profile and role of dog wardens in this area of work.

By providing this, the Good Dog Campaign aims to:

• help local authorities promote responsible dog ownership and reduce levels of indiscriminate dog fouling.
